What’s up! I’m Elliot Joseph.

I’m a multifaceted professional in the Performing Arts.

A London native New Yorker, I honed my acting skills at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, earning acclaim as a recipient of the Max Fischer Award for Acting and becoming an integral member of the esteemed Company Program.

I’m jumping ahead. I started performing in my teens attending The Sylvia Young Theatre School, followed by the incredible Anna Scher’s.

In James Wan’s blockbuster film, The Conjuring 2, I collaborated on pivotal scenes alongside Francis O’Connor & Simon Delaney. And my performance as Constable Peterson garnered recognition in the pages of the UK’s Empire magazine.

On stage I have appeared off-Broadway in Irish Rep’s production of “London Assurance,” embodying the character of ‘Cool’ as well as participating in a Broadway workshop alongside Tony award winner André De Shields, showcasing my versatility and depth as an actor. Off-Broadway, I have also worked with Arielle Tepper Productions, New Dramatists, FPA, and The Directors Company.

In 2011, I founded Think(iT) Film Assembly, establishing a studio at The Brooklyn Navy Yard. Alongside my sister company BK Actors Self-Tape, where I continue to coache and tapes actors’ auditions. My directorial and production endeavors have resulted in projects featured in festivals, including an innovative web series on the front page of Backstage performers magazine.

I was also the original founder of Nylon Fusion Theater Company, supported by Paul Haggis & John Patrick Shanley. I wrote plays, produced, and orchestrated a unique production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ with an exceptional ensemble and Broadway director Andrew Goldberg.

My acting education includes studies at: Terry Schreiber, Lesly Kahn, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Groundlings.
